Who we are

Utilsbox (utilsbox.biz) is a free online suite of developer utilities, calculators, and file tools. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site, including advertising and analytics.

How the tools process your content

Many tools (including PDF, image, and in-browser editors) run locally in your device. We do not receive those files unless a specific tool needs a server to produce a result.

Some formatters and validators may send the text you paste to our processing API so we can return a formatted or validated result. Do not paste passwords, private keys, production secrets, or personal data you would not want transmitted.

We do not sell the content you submit. API payloads are used to generate the response you requested.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand aggregated traffic (pages viewed, countries, devices, and key actions such as copy or download). Google may set cookies or similar identifiers as described in Google’s own policies.

Advertising

The site is free and supported by ads. We use Google AdSense (when approved and live) and Adsterra display/native units.

These partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and approximate location to serve and measure ads. You may see personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your region, consent, and ad-blocker settings.

Cookies

We store a locale cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) when you pick a language. Analytics and advertising partners may set additional cookies.

You can block cookies in your browser. The site still works; ads and analytics may be limited.

Legal bases and retention

We process technical logs and analytics for operating, securing, and improving the service, and to measure advertising. Advertising partners act as independent controllers for their own ad cookies where applicable.

We do not keep tool submissions as a user account database. Server-side processing is transient for generating a response.

Your choices

You can use a tracker blocker, disable cookies, or email us to ask what we store. We do not operate user logins, so we typically cannot retrieve “your file” after a session ends.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16. Do not submit personal information about children.
